One of the our most rural schools, Lwelu renovation was completed in 2013 thanks to the generous support from Salisbury Catholic Outreach, Kerry Harding Trust and the St James’ Place Foundation

The pre-primary class opened in 2014 and is now sponsored by Cymraeg Vending.

Lwelu has 82 pre-primary children and 521 primary children were enrolled at the school.

How the renovation of Lwelu Primary School has made a difference

“I can see the improvement in our examination results – in particular more children are taking and passing their leaving examination and going to secondary school.”  - Head teacher

“I like to use the Tippytap to wash my hands  my teacher tells me it will stop me from getting sick.”  - Pupil
