A Message from Genna:

“I am delighted to be joining EdUKaid, a charity whose values resonate deeply with my own belief that every child deserves access to education and the chance to improve their life circumstances. Having had the privilege of working with incredible organizations and teams worldwide, I am eager to bring my learnings to this role.

EdUKaid’s commitment to community-led development and its progressive approach deeply inspire me. I am particularly excited about the organization’s vision and the dedicated team driving its mission forward. With nearly a decade of experience in East Africa, I am thrilled to reconnect with the communities in this region and continue our collective journey towards a brighter future for all children.

I am grateful for Teresa’s outstanding leadership over the past eight years and feel privileged to step into this role. I am delighted that Teresa will be staying with the organisation on a part-time basis .  Together with Emmanuel and the team in Tanzania, as well as our dedicated Board of Trustees and supporters, I am excited to lead EdUKaid into its next chapter.

I extend my heartfelt thanks to all our supporters who make our work possible. Your contributions are invaluable, and I am eager to continue this journey together as we strive to reach even more children across Tanzania. Please feel free to be in touch if you would like updates on any specific projects you’ve supported over the years.”  Genna can be contacted at [email protected]
