After graduating from Trinity College, Cambridge, John Cox taught English in schools in Shropshire, Suffolk and London. At Bishop Wordsworth’s School in Salisbury, he was Head of English and later Assistant Head teacher and directed over fifty dramatic and musical productions. He retired in 2010 but lectures on English Literature at Sarum College.

He is a governor of the Sarum St. Michael Trust and a board member of La Folia (formerly Sarum Orchestra). He previously served as a trustee of a Development Charity operating in Tanzania and has travelled widely in Africa. He became a trustee of EdUKaid in 2011.

I am an EdUKaid trustee because I was asked to be one and couldn't say no. It's been a very rewarding responsibility.
