In southern Tanzania, girls face huge barriers to accessing education due to poor, undignified sanitation facilities, a lack of understanding of their rights and harmful cultural beliefs. As a result, less than 1 in 100 girls gets to complete her education - most dropping out when they reach puberty. Girls who drop of school are at significantly more risk of exploitation and abuse with teenage girls often pregnant or married when still children themselves.

EdUKaid helps girls remain in education and achieve their full potential through a range of initiatives including preparing girls for puberty, building washrooms and educating communities about the benefits of keeping girls in school.

Instead of presents, we would like friends and family to consider making a donation so that girls in Tanzania have the chance of a better life.
