Rebecca previously worked as Business Development Director for Swiss Eyewear Group, managing distributors in Western Europe and the USA. She worked in the eyewear industry for 25 years and has in-depth knowledge of domestic and export sales and marketing.  She was been actively involved in brand strategy and management, opening new markets for numerous start-ups and SMEs.

I am an EdUKaid trustee as I believe that education is so important, and I want to help improve the lives of children and their families in Tanzania.

Rebecca is a Guest Lecturer at Strathclyde University Business School of which she is an Alumni and founding member of their Business Fellow Network. Her non-executive director roles have included being a school governor for over 20 years; currently at Bishop Wordsworth’s School in Salisbury.  Rebecca recently joined the board of Sparkel - a welsh charity supporting young people with developmental difficulties.  She is a former trustee of Salisbury Area Young Musicians and continues to volunteer at Salisbury Art Centre.

Rebecca has always had a passion for education and EdUKaid’s mission of “to learn is to live”  really struck a chord.

Rebecca became a trustee of EdUKaid in 2020.
