Social Media Volunteer​

If you enjoy communicating through social media and want to use your time and skills to make a real difference then get in touch.

Location: Downton near Salisbury (possibility of working from home)

Hours: Ideally, we are looking for someone who could help for 4 or more hours per week but the hours can be flexible to fit around your commitments.

Skills required:

  • A good knowledge of at least one social media platform
  • Ability to tell a compelling story using both words and pictures
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Access to a computer, tablet, or phone with internet access if working from home
  • Good sense of humour

Funding Research Volunteer

If you enjoy looking for a needle in an online haystack and want to put your skills to good use then get in touch.  By giving up a few hours a week you could truly make a difference.

Location: Downton near Salisbury (possibility of working from home)

Hours: Ideally, we are looking for someone who could help for 4 or more hours per week but the hours can be flexible to fit around your commitments.

Skills required:

  • Good online research skills
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office – particularly Excel
  • Willingness to learn about funding processes
  • Organised and methodical
  • Access to a computer, tablet, or phone with internet access if working from home
  • Good sense of humour

Admin Volunteer

If you enjoy working in an office environment and like keeping other people in order then this could be the role for you.  We are looking for an individual to help with general administrative tasks in a friendly office – a few hours spent writing letters, printing and filing will help us improve the lives of Tanzania’s most disadvantaged children.

Location: Downton near Salisbury

Hours: Ideally, we are looking for someone who could help for 4 or more hours per week but the hours can be flexible to fit around your commitments.

Skills required:

  • Good administrative skills
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office
  • Organised and methodical
  • Enjoys learning new things
  • Good sense of humour
