Like so many charities around the world, our income will be affected by COVID-19 which is leading to the cancelation of fundraising events. However, children and families in rural Tanzania need our help more than ever.  In response, the organisers of the biggest mass-participation sports events across the country have come together to create a new campaign to raise vital funds to help to save charities.

Take on the 2.6 challenge to help us continue to change the lives of vulnerable children in rural Tanzania

The 2.6 Challenge will launch on Sunday 26 April – what should have been the date of the 40th London Marathon, the world’s biggest one-day annual fundraising event.  We’re asking you to take part in an activity of your choice based around the numbers 2.6 or 26 and fundraise or donate to support EdUKaid.  The ideas and options are endless!  The only requirement is that you must follow Government guidelines on exercise and social distancing.

There are just five simple steps to take:

1. Dream up your 2.6 challenge – if you need help there are lots of ideas here

2. Set up a fundraising page here for you challenge or make a donation - just choose EdUKaid as your charity

3. Ask all your friends and family to sponsor you and challenge them to do their own 2.6 Challenge

4. Complete your challenge

5. Tell us about it! Share a photo or video of your challenge on social media with #TwoPointSixChallenge and tag EdUKaid so we can see how amazing you are!

Read our COVID-19 update here and how your fundraising could save lives.

We hope you’ll join the nation in the 2.6 Challenge by supporting EdUKaid and helping us continue our vital work in Tanzania ūüôŹ‚̧ԳŹ
