Marc has recently joined as a Communications Volunteer and is ready to use his background in international development and engagement to showcase EdUKaid's fantastic work.

Whilst studying International Relations at the University of Leeds, Marc first engaged with international education as an organiser for fundraising and awareness events for the student-led UNICEF society. He has since committed to improving education outcomes both home and abroad, spending time as a volunteer for a refugee-centred charity in East Africa, as well as joining a scheme to tutor underprivileged students in the UK. Graduating with a first-class degree, he is keen to continue his studies and pursue a masters degree in humanitarian development. Combining his interest in educational development with his experience in the Fundraising team at The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, Marc is excited to join a team that values strong relationships with both its beneficiaries and its supporters.

Marc is drawn to EdUKaid's inclusive approach to developing the outcomes of early years education and its continued commitment to empowering communities in Mtwara. Joining in the run-up to EdUKaid's 20th anniversary, he's excited to publicise the organisations incredible and long-lasting impact on Tanzanian communities through blogs, social media posts and more - so keep an eye out!
