Alistair has a diverse professional background with 20 years experience in digital marketing and business development in both the private and charity sector, and has been supporting EdUKaid since 2017.

I believe EdUKaid to be an incredibly effective charity in the African Education sector, providing greatly-needed and life-changing services to some of the poorest regions of Tanzania. It is a charity that delivers excellent value for money and punches well above its' weight; I am proud to be a Trustee.

Following his law degree, Alistair joined the world of professional services, beginning his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers. A long-held dream of emigrating to France became a reality in 2004 when he moved to South West France with his wife, where he was Managing Director of one of France's most successful English-speaking estate agencies.

Returning to the UK in 2021, he set up his own digital marketing and recruitment consultancies, before joining the leading UK charity Help for Heroes in 2013 to head up a new Digital Marketing function. He subsequently became Director of Fundraising for a number of years, chasing targets of £30m and managing a team of 80 marketers, fundraisers and volunteers.

Alistair now enjoys a varied portfolio as Commercial Director of Wilsons LLP, a Private Client law firm in Salisbury and London, Director of a publishing company in Bath which specialises in France and is also heavily involved with the international property sector.

Formerly a Chair of Governors and also a Trustee of Dimbleby Cancer Care, Alistair initially supporting EdUKaid in a Pro Bono capacity before joining the Board in 2019.
