Over 200 tribal art enthusiasts attended a charity auction last week raising an incredible £3,000 in support of EdUKaid's work in rural Tanzania.  The auction was held at the prestigious Mall Galleries in central London as part of the Tribal Art London Exhibition.

EdUKaid was chosen as Tribal Art London's charity partner after organiser and African Tribal Art specialist Bryan Reeves came across our work in Mikindani.  Bryan was moved by the difference EdUKaid was making to the lives of children in the remote area and made contact when he returned to the UK.

Celebrity auctioneer Ronnie Archer-Morgan, known for his regular appearance on Antiques Roadshow, encouraged bidders to give generously and raise as much money as possible for the charity.  Auction items were kindly donated by exhibitors who were keen to support EdUKaid's work.

Proceeds from the auction will be used to support Mkwajuni Primary School and improve the lives of some of Tanzania's most disadvantaged children.
