EdUKaid’s Funding
Like all charities funding is the most important aspect of our operation because without cash we would be unable to do any work to improve education. We feel it is very important to spend as little as possible on our administration and we are very lucky to receive the generous support of two companies to enable this to happen.
Revive Vending allows us to use its office and meeting space and provides us with all of our stationary, telephone calls, postage etc and even gives us a good supply of freshly brewed tea and coffee from their excellent range of vending machines. The other company is Giant Peach Design; a fresh, forward thinking web and graphic design company that has done a magnificent job on designing our website. They have donated this website and also administer our emailing and have designed all of our literature and advertisements.
We also benefit from the continued and generous support of the Victoria and Albert Inn, Netherhampton, who host and support many of our fundraising events.
We have a very active fundraising group that organise many events providing a large part of our funding. Some of the events are relatively low key but they also organise some larger events like our annual Ball and Rugby Sevens Tournament which are great fun as well as raising lots of cash.
We are very lucky to receive the continued and generous support from a number of schools, churches and other organisations. This is an excellent source of income for us because it requires relatively little work from the charity. We go to the organisations meetings or assemblies to talk about our work and how the money is spent. We approach grant making organisations and trusts for specific fundraising.
