Race To Face 10km

Organised and supported by Downton Leisure Centre

Since 2003, EdUKaid has been supporting some of the poorest communities in Tanzania to improve the access and quality of education.

At the beginning of 2010, Tim Varney, EdUKaid’s Chair of Trustees, agreed to take on the challenge of running 10 x 10km races over 10 months to raise £10,000. EdUKaid’s Feed a Child’s Education (FACE) 10km is the culmination of his efforts and we hope many friends of EdUKaid, as well as keen runners, will join him in this, his last race, and help raise some much needed funds to help drive school improvement in Tanzania.

EdUKaid’s Race to FACE 10km is set in the stunning natural scenery of the New Forest National Park, www.racenewforest.co.uk/. Enjoy this spectacular, challenging multi-terrain course and help raise money for EdUKaid’s work with children in Tanzania.

Race pre-entry: UKA £10.50 – Non UKA £12.50, 2km run/walk: £3
On the day: UKA £12 – Non UKA £14, 2km run/walk: £5
Team entry: £12.50 pp (min 4)
