Books
The most basic tool to educate a child. Even if the children do manage to
get to school there is no guarantee there will always be the resources they
need once they are there. Books are a great gift, they open a whole world of
learning despite their minimal cost.

Decorating
The classrooms out in Mikindani are mostly bare and poorly equipped.
Children learn best when their environment is bright and there is
something on the walls, even if it is just a coat of paint. When we
display information in an exciting way on their classroom walls, there
are far more possibilities of productive, interactive learning.

We will source the furniture for the schools out in Tanzania, thereby helping
local trade. Many pupils are currently sitting either three or four to a desk
or on the floor!
