BusyBusyBusy!September 25 2012

The last few weeks at EdUKaid have been an extremely busy time! Not only are we in the process of launching our new website, we are also re-designing our Child Sponsorship Scheme to increase its capacity, allowing us to help and support more children through this programme.

The team in Tanzania have been extremely busy. School holidays came to an end in August and since children have returned to School at the beginning of September. Our Project Coordinator, Jaylani has been collecting updates on sponsored children, assessing their progress and feeding back progress reports to the UK.

Some more exciting news – Our NEW Pre-primary classroom has been opened and the children at Msijute have been test running the classroom. This is our first new build, and marks our fourth Pre-primary classroom that we have introduced!

Not only are the Child Sponsorship and Pre-primary projects at Full steam ahead, but we have lots more happening right now in our Schools Improvement project! Work has started at Namgogoli Primary School in early September. Ally, our Tanzanian Project Manager has been overseeing simultaneous build projects recently, and we are really excited to be starting at Namgogoli with the support from teachers and the community.
