Bringing teachers together - and why its so importantJune 17 2016
Sometimes the most effective projects a charity can put forward do not cost the earth, they just cost some time. Realising the influence teachers can have on each other we started early years workshops. Unicef states that early childhood (spanning the period up to 8 years old) is critical for cognitive, social, emotional and physical development. By working together teachers can help each other to provide a smooth transition for this vital stage in a child's life.
The workshop brings together pre-primary teachers with standard 1 and 2 teachers so they can share ideas, and spend time together. We have rolled this workshop out to all of our primary schools, and EdUKaids Education Advisor Emmanuel is working towards starting the second of meeting.
